Winnie's Peanut Brittle

1 c sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/v c water
1/4 tsp salt
 1 c peanuts

Bring to boil and boil until 300 degrees.
Put nuts in when sugar is dissolved. 

Immediately stir in:
2 Tbs butter
1 tsp soda

Beat until butter is melted.
Pour on greased cookie sheet.
