In 13x9" pan, mix 1 c brown sugar and 1/2 c cocoa.
Then stir in 2 c water.
Add 12 marshmallows cut in quarters (or 48 mini marshmallows) over the mixture.
Spook 1 pkg Devils Food Cake mixture over this.
Top with 1 c nut meats if desired.
Bake 350 for 45 minutes.
Decorate with whipped cream if desired.
(mix the cake according to box directions. For the banquet, omit nuts and whipped cream.)
